Frankie & The Heartstrings, are to release their second album, The Days Run Away via their label, Pop Sex Ltd on 27th May. The album is available to pre-order now on CD, LP and digital download on the Wichita store.
The Days Run Away was recorded during 2012 in Newcastle and London with former Suede figurehead and producer Bernard Butler. The band initially collaborated with Butler on a one off single Everybody Looks Better (In The Right Light) released in November 2011. This successful partnership led F&THs to record their upcoming second album with Butler, the first fruits of their sessions was released in the form of download track I Still Follow You last October.
Speaking with regards The Days Run Away, singer Frankie Francis said, “we’re raring to go with this new record, it’s been a long year and staying off the road so we can write and record a great album has been tough for us at times, but we’ve put everything we have into it and can’t wait to unleash it”.
