Cloud Nothings Sign To Wichita
We are very excited to announce the debut release from Cloud Nothings on Wichita. For the unfamiliar Cloud Nothings is the supremely talented 18 year old Dylan Baldi, whose home-recorded taut catchy lo-fi indie rock songs have already gained much acclaim. The release, entitled Turning On will compile the incendiary Turning On EP, the ultra limited and rollicking Group Tightener seven inch single, and two killer songs from a super-hard-to-find cassette only release in one handy package! It hits shops on 25th October and is preceded by single Hey Cool Kid on 18th October.

Best Coast Announce Rough Trade Instore + Album Out Monday!
If you missed tickets for the band’s Cargo show you can catch them the day after their album release at Rough Trade East. The band will play at 7pm on 3rd August. Purchase their album from Rough Trade and receive a wristband for the show any remaining wristbands will be given out an hour prior to stage time on the day of the show, on a first come first served basis.

Since their emergence from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1996, Les Savy Fav have been building a passionate following among musicians, fans, and critics the old fashioned way: by earning it. The approach has yielded something even more rare: a fully seasoned band at the peak of their skill that has not been blown out by hype and overexposure. Les Savy Fav Announce New Album Details
Les Savy Fav will be releasing Root For Ruin, the follow up to the critically-acclaimed 2007 album Let’s Stay Friends on 13th September.
“I think ROOT for RUIN somehow captures all the best parts of LES SAVY FAV,” explains guitarist Syd Butler. “We went into it with no expectations - and super excited with what came out - all the songs are my favorites.”
The album was recorded earlier this year at Gigantic Studio in NYC with Chris Zane.

First Aid Kit Announce New Single
First Aid Kit have announced the third single to be taken from their critically acclaimed debut album The Big Black And The Blue will be Sailor Song, out on 12th July on digital download.

Best Coast Sign To Wichita
We are delighted to announce the signing of Californian duo Best Coast and the release of their debut album Crazy For You on 2nd August (formats CD / LP and DD).
Best Coast are 23-year old songwriter Bethany Cosentino and musical partner Bobb Bruno.
Their sun-kissed songs of love and longing have been attracting much attention over recent months following a string of now sold-out 7” releases Stateside on the independent labels Group Tightener, Atelier Cuseaux, Art Fag, Black Iris, PPM and Eskuche. The only place you’ll find these rare gems now is on eBay.
Over here, a hugely successful debut UK/European tour in May included a packed out show at Brighton’s Great Escape festival and culminated in a knockout performance at Primavera in front of 10,000 music fans.
None of the songs on Crazy for You have been previously released on earlier 7-inches. For the album’s sessions Cosentino brought in a collection of demos she had never sent to Bruno. “I wanted the record to be something completely fresh and new,” says Cosentino. “I just felt like my first record needed to be really special.”
Their LP was recorded at Black Iris, a studio in LA’s Echo Park neighbourhood, and produced by Lewis Pesacov of the bands Fool’s Gold and Foreign Born.
Best Coast return to Europe in July and headline London’s Cargo on album release day.

Sky Larkin Announce New Single
Sky Larkin have announced the lead single to be taken from their new album Kaleide. Still Windmills will be released on 2nd August on 7” and download. The single will be backed by We’ll Be Detectives, written by Mother Vulpine, the legendary Leeds grunge rockers who later spawned Pulled Apart By Horses and Dinosaur Pile-Up. The download version also comes with extra track Traction.
