28.03.08 - Les Savy Fav Return to the UK

The 'Fav are readying themselves for a return to these shores with three gigs in May.

The band will be returning to play the Pitchfork day of this year's All Tomorrow's Parties, but will squeeze in a few other gigs while they're here.

25.02.08 - Les Savy Fav: New Single, Reissue of Singles Compilation and UK Shows Announced

Hot on the heels of hitting the top five of NME’S ‘Albums Of The Year’ at the end of last year with their massively critically acclaimed ‘Let’s Stay Friends’ album, Wichita Records and Les Savy Fav are please to announce the release of stand-out album track ‘Patty Lee’ as a single on February 25th and the welcome reissue of the ‘Inches’ album on March 10th. The ‘Patty Lee’ 7” is available here and you can preorder ‘Inches’ here.

Compiling all of the Les Savy Fav 7” singles that have been recorded over the last 5 years, ‘Inches’ features many songs that have been unavailable to even the most diehard fans and this 18 track compendium serves as the perfect introduction to Les Savy Fav as well as a much sought after piece by collectors. In total it features nine seven inch singles released on 8 different labels and a magazine covermount (Monitor, Cold Crush, Tiger Style, DeSoto, Self-Starter Foundation, Sub Pop, Suicide Squeeze, X-Mist and Chunklet Magazine.)

But it gets better! Included in the initial pressing is a bonus limited edition DVD featuring videos, live footage, pictures and audio commentary featuring David Cross, Les Savy Fav, Fred Armisen and more.

The band are also set to return to the capitol on February 10th for an appearance at the Astoria as part of the NME Awards Tour. Support from Future Of The Left, Los Campesinos! and Cut Off Your Hands. Tickets available here.

03.09.07 - "What Would Wolves Do?" released September 24th with dual sleeve art!

Les Savy Fav will release their first single "What Would Wolves Do?" b/w "The Year Before The Year 2000" on September 24th through Wichita. The single is taken from the album "Let's Stay Friends", out a week later on 1st October. It will be available on 7" with black or white sleeve art.

25.07.07 - Signed to Wichita!

Wichita are very proud to have signed Brooklyn legends, Les Savy Fav. We have wanted to sign them since the label started in the summer of 2000. And finally it has happened!

The band release their new album, titled "Let’s Stay Friends", on October 1st. It will be preceded by a double A-side single "What Would Wolves Do?" b/w "The Year Before The Year 2000" on September 24th.
